The wedding receiving line is another moment of emotion and fun - the hard part seems over and one can now truly start the celebration. The above photograph was taken on a beautiful day and I love it for its composition. We have the hedge and the tree framing the line perfectly, providing complete classic geometry for the eye to see.

weddings in the rain

I know what you're saying, "It better not rain on my wedding!"

We all hope for the best weather possible. But in the end the weather is not really what matters. Here's a great recommendation if rain is forecasted on your wedding or event day. Pick up some fun, bright umbrellas. Umbrellas that stand out from the crowd and make the rainy day fun! Imagine a line up of brides maids each looking beautiful and each holding their own multi-colored umbrella. Those will be pictures you'll never forget.

Wedding cakes, wedding cakes, wedding cakes! They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and with a hundred different styles and flavors. In over a couple hundred weddings throughout New England and the Boston area I don't think I've ever seen the same cake twice! It makes me reflect back on my own wedding cake: a sheet cake purchased at the local supermarket! I don't recommend it but we had a great time.

winter weddings

Getting married in the winter? It's quite a blast and not just of cold air! There's nothing like a winter wedding and getting out in the snow. It makes for great pictures!
